How does it work?
Using a superior vacuum and a specially designed hang piece, aluminium oxide crystals are gently passed across the skin. As the crystals make contact, layers of the skin are exfoliated, and then the vacuumed away with the used crystals. The combination of skin exfoliation and vacuum leads to cell turnover and improved blood flow.
Any side effects?
Microdermabrasion is a gentle treatment with very little recovery time or side effects. Treated skin may be slightly pink after the treatment, but this will usually fade within a few hours. Makeup can be applied straight away, and normal day to day activities can be resumed immediately. Although treatment is gentle, it wise to wear sunscreen afterwards.
